Disarming Nigerians In An unsecured environment, A push to the Wall.

Disarming Nigerians in an unsecured environment at this time is a push to the wall on Nigerians, the south-east,  the Niger Delta and the middle belt who are the victims of insecurity in Nigeria presently are killed, rapped, their properties destroyed  and vandalised on daily basis have the right to protect themselves. For the federal government through the Inspector General of police (IG) Mohammed Idris to give an order to all state commissioner of Police to disarm all community vigilantes and every other community protection  apparatus being used by the people, groups or villages to protect themselves is unacceptable. The order, command or decision of government deserves public attention and questions. However, security wise, community vigilante at often times later becomes a security threat to the society and the country at large, if the national security are not doing the proper checks and  balances on the vigilante groups, their existence and  their day to day activities are to be monitored, checked by the national security.  If the activities of the vigilante group pose a threat to national security that means our national security is at fault, because their  duties are to check and monitor their activities on weekly or monthly bases, it's their inactive and in-effective work and poor attention to their job.

Community vigilante is witnessed in areas where peoples lives and properties are in danger mostly on remote areas, where there is no good access roads and communicable gadgets cannot function properly due to poor network services, these vigilantes are the ones to direct the national security at all the nooks and crannies, the flashier areas the enemies used in carrying out their nefarious activities. I advise that the federal government should reverse the decision, and create confidence on people by creating a national security that will work in hand in hand with the vigilante group, monitor their activities and collect good information from them to tackle the insecurity challenges the country
is facing now.

In the North-east Nigeria there are vigilante groups, their duties are to monitor and give reports to the military they have weapons to protect themselves and their people, their duties are on vigilant to watch over the areas suspected to be flash  points and you can't be there unprotected, with bare hands NO, If you disarm the vigilante that means you have disband their job, the insecurity, attacks and killings are expected to increase on Nigerians if such order is implemented. Let this decision or order not be in the interest of a hatred or to subdue a certain area because a certain region, people, or groups are in use of AK 47 and other deadly weapons against some certain areas and there wasn't  such order, now that a certain area have decided to defend themselves by creating a group of community vigilante to check the activities of insecurity in their area, which the national security needs to applaud and work with them, rather they choose to disarm the vigilante, any person or
groups with arms. When a Co-wives receives an equal share, greed, envy and
jealousy will disappear.
